At Cairns Baptist Church
We believe that the men in our church play an important role in leading their church and family by living out their faith in everyday life. Following Jesus is not just about attending church on Sundays—it’s about maintaining a daily walk with Him through prayer, Scripture, and a commitment to growing in faith. By prioritizing prayer and personal devotion, we equip ourselves to face life’s challenges with wisdom, strength, and integrity.
There are plenty of opportunities for men to be involved at Cairns Baptist Church. Whether it’s volunteering to maintain the church grounds, lending a hand at working bees, joining the creative ministries, or welcoming people at the door on a Sunday morning, there are many ways to serve and build connections. If you’d like to be involved in a ministry, please don’t hesitate to talk to one of the pastors, elders, or deacons. Joining a home group is another great way to share life, encourage one another, and grow in faith together.
Gathering
In addition to serving, we gather monthly for men’s events, where we enjoy fellowship, encouragement, and spiritual growth. These events often include a guest speaker or a shared devotion, providing practical wisdom for everyday life. It’s a great opportunity to get to know other men in the church, build strong friendships, and feel more connected to the church community.
